She Hulk the new Marvel Studios series premiered last August 18, and as the showrunners and the UCM directors themselves have confessed, this series is one of the most relevant of what we know as “phase 4”.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe will introduce the first mutants in the She-Hulk series. In Ms. Marvel it was revealed that this type of superhumans are already hiding on Earth and it is a matter of time before the first X-Men appear.
Interestingly, the new Disney Plus series does not feature mutants to see action scenes, but Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) will take the role of a lawyer for these characters. We will see in this production will also feature the participation of actors like Mark Ruffalo and Benedict Wong.
The production already has its first reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and other specialized websites. She-Hulk, before its premiere, has achieved a score of 83 out of 100. These reviews consider that the series is fun and has a good balance between comedy and action, in addition to the inclusion of a new female character.
While it is true that the beginning is somewhat different from what we are used to in the UCM, it is undoubtedly the best start for this story. And continuing with the female axis, She Hulk is expected to become a reference for girls and women to let us see that superheroines can come in thousands of shapes, sizes and even colors.
The nine-episode miniseries is now available on Disney+ and stars Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), a superhero lawyer who, as fate would have it, has ended up becoming the female version of the Hulk. So now she not only has to deal with the wreckage of her clients as they save the world, now she has to learn to control herself. We wouldn’t want the courtroom gavel to be used for anything other than signing sentences, right?
