Sonny John Moore started making music in “From First To Last”, a post-hardcore and emo band that put him on the musical map due to his singular screamo technique. A vocal chord damage stopped him from continuing this project. This was the start of Skrillex as we nowadays now it.
He became very popular within the electronic music and dubstep scene and developed a unique sound that gained recognition all over the industry. Recently, Sonny joined forces with producers Four Tet and Fred Again.. and started to play live shows with them. This alliance strengthened his mediatic representation and peaked when he announced the release of two new records with featurings of artists such as Yung Lean, Bladee and Chief Kief among many others, names that can’t be usually found in the same works. This is what made everything special along with the refreshing electronic new sound he achieved to produce.
