Sky announced a Sky Stream dish last year with the Sky Glass TV, but at the moment, this dish only can be used in Sky TVs or must be subscribed to Sky to use it in another’s TV brand. So the new is that Sky is permitting to use this gadget in another TV, not only in Sky’s TVs.
This permission is made by an internet-powered streaming device that offers the full Sky experience without the need for a dish. Before that, the people that wanted to use it, should but a Sky TV. With this dish, you can see the Sky products, but also the things that other brands like Netflix, Apple TV or Disney+ are producing.
The buyer can also grace the TV with the same voice controlled powers found in Sky Glass, along with the same recommendation features to boot. This dish can support 4K 60fps streaming too.
The dish has not any date to be launched, but it is expected to be available during this year, and they have not said anything about the price that it will have. In spite of we have not a lot of information, it is not too much time until this product is launched.
