TEAMBETA, the most successful content creators project in Spain, TEAMBETA was created by the Brothers Martínez. We have been able to talk to each of the TEAMBETA members to get to know them more closely.
Martínez: For those who don’t know, what is TEAMBETA?
Team Beta is a collaborative creation that emerged from the imagination and effort of a year and a half of searching for the right people to give meaning to our name: Best Entertainers Taking Action.
Martínez: What motivated you to create TEAMBETA?
We firmly believe in the strength of a team to overcome all the obstacles that life throws our way. In both difficult and happy times, we will always feel united and stronger.
Martínez: In your original idea for TEAMBETA, was it planned for you to be actively involved in the content with the guys, or was that something that developed over time?
I still believe that people haven’t seen how united we can be. Each of us has our own personality and content, but we get along great, and that’s what really matters.
Martínez: Are you planning to include more members of TEAMBETA? Members from other countries, Europe or USA?
We call them the Fantastic four because they are great both individually and as a group. I can imagine Team Beta growing even more in the future.
Martínez: What speculative future does TEAMBETA have?
I see Team Beta traveling to different countries and making a mark. There are no limitations for this project, so we will trust that time will tell how far we will go.
Apolo: What motivated you to join TEAMBETA?
What motivated me to join the beta team was the opportunity to live with Llanos and Alvarito, my best friends, and to be able to record content together, as well as to live an experience that I may not have the chance to have again.
Apolo: How was the moment when you told your parents that you were leaving home to join TEAMBETA?
The moment I told them that I was leaving home to go create content in another house was tough. Their reaction was the one I expected, disappointed in me for leaving my studies and for leaving so early without a secure future. I explained everything to them so that they could understand me and look out for my best interests, which was to go live outside. Even so, no matter how much they told me yes, I know that deep down they still don’t trust that this is what will provide for me in the future. But gradually they are seeing that everything is going well and that things are getting better. It’s just a matter of time to show them that leaving the nest so early was the best thing I’ve ever done.
Apolo: How did you start creating content?
I started creating content a few years ago as a way to combat boredom, like most creators. As time went by, I dedicated more space to creating content because it was something I loved and still love today. Entertaining people and making them smile is the best reward I can get for the content I create.
Apolo: What do you like most about being part of TEAMBETA?
What I like most about being part of Team Beta is that thanks to the fact that we have built a very healthy friendship bond between us, making me feel at home. Honestly, I consider TEAMBETA my second family.
Apolo: What is Apolo like behind the cameras, your personality?
Behind the camera I consider myself quite similar to the Apolo that is on social media because I always try to be transparent to convey my true self. That’s what people like about me, seeing me for who I really am. But beyond that, there are things that I can’t express through the screen and that only stay with the Apolo behind the cameras. Sometimes I’m quite shy when I meet new people, insecure about what they might think of my appearance or personality, that’s why I’m always more reserved with my “true self” when I meet someone.
I’m also quite nervous, I have ADHD and that’s a plus to take into account because no matter how much you try to understand the difference between having hyperactivity or not, the fact of having your head at 200% all day long is something that sometimes becomes overwhelming and that often leads to impulsive or aggressive behavior. The Apolo behind the cameras likes to spend quality time with his loved ones and make those around him happy.
Apolo: What are your hobbies and interests?
Swimming in the sea, looking at the stars, doing crafts, eating… those are some of my hobbies and interests.
Apolo: Who do you admire?
I admire my parents a lot, they have given me the values to be who I am and I aspire to be like my father.
Apolo: Do you like football? What´s your team?
Football doesn’t passion me as much as it did when I was a child, but I will always be a Barça fan.
Tatiana: What motivated you to join TEAMBETA?
Honestly, what motivated me most was the fact of being in a house with so many people with the same purpose and reality as me. I set very high goals and this team has them.
Tatiana: How was the moment when you told your parents that you were leaving home to join TEAMBETA?
It was quite hard, because they don’t know much about social media, so it took them a while to understand it, but after talking about it a lot they saw that the team was what I really wanted and they always want the best for me, so they respected that decision.
Tatiana: What do you like most about being part of TEAMBETA?
At school I was never considered “popular”, this social media thing was very spontaneous for me, it happened overnight but it has never bothered me the fact of being more known or being recognized on the street. It’s something I like, I meet new people and it’s exciting to see how many people you can reach and make happy just by making videos.
Tatiana: What are your hobbies and interests?
I get along great with the guys, it’s something quite new for me but we’ve adapted very easily and we’ve never had any problems. But yes, they’re quite messy, so sometimes they get scolded.
Tatiana: You’re becoming a very popular content creator, how do you handle the popularity thing?
My plans include moving to another country, probably England. I was there studying for 6 years in a boarding school near London, so a big part of my life is there. I would also like to create a hair product brand, a project I’ve already begun but still has a long way to go.
Tatiana: What is it like living with the guys in the house?
We all get along great and it’s become like a second family to me. Even though we’re very different, we all have the same goal and always help each other out.
Tatiana: What are your plans for the future?
This is a secret… but I really like to sing, since I was little I always got up on stage, I took my microphone and speaker everywhere. I watch those videos of me as a little girl now and honestly I sounded better back then.
Alvarito: What motivated you to join TEAMBETA?
Honestly, from the moment the project was presented to me, I wanted to go all in, being able to live off doing something you love is the best thing that can happen in life.
Alvarito: How was the moment when you told your parents that you were leaving home to join TEAMBETA?
My parents have been there for me from the beginning, they have always supported me in everything and have helped me everything I am achieving.
Alvarito: What do you like most about being part of TEAMBETA?
As I said before, what I like most is being able to live from doing something I love and the best thing of all is being surrounded by people I have a good time with.
Alvarito: What are your hobbies and interests?
I play a lot of video games but I also really like sports like soccer, basketball or going to the gym.
Alvarito: What is Alvaro like up close, with his friends?
I’m a pretty extroverted guy and I love to have a good time with the people I’m with.
Alvarito: What is it like living with the other members of TEAMBETA?
I had never lived with anyone before but honestly I have nothing to complain about, the guys and I get along great at home.
Alvarito: How do you see yourself in 5 years?
I believe that I can become someone, in 5 years I want to look back and be able to be proud of everything I have done, if everything goes well I will surely achieve it and if not I will fight to achieve it anyway.
Llanos: What motivated you to join TEAMBETA?
The opportunity to find a path with very favorable conditions and opportunities to be one of the best in terms of social media.
Llanos: How was the moment when you told your parents that you were leaving home to join TEAMBETA?
It was hard for them, but they always support me in this kind of decision.
Llanos: What do you like most about being part of TEAMBETA?
That we are not only a work group but also a great family.
Llanos: What are your hobbies and interests?
Spending time with friends, training and playing sports, and playing video games.
Llanos: What plans do you make with the TEAMBETA guys when you’re not creating content?
We chat, train, go out for drinks, play sports…
Llanos: What is it like living with the TEAMBETA guys?
Living with them is fun in my case, it’s true that when you’re looking for peace and quiet or a moment of privacy it’s more difficult when you live with more people, but it’s entertaining.
Llanos: What are your plans for the future? My plans for the future are to continue creating content talking about the near future, and in the long term, to be able to set up my own business or company, either in the field of social media or another field (become a businessman).
