The Latin Recording Academy has reported the possibility of holding the next Latin Grammy Awards outside the United States.
The organization of the event has confirmed to EFE news agency that “We have been in talks with several cities, including cities outside the United States, for next year’s celebration (…). We are very excited with the interest we have received from major international cities”.
With this, several media have leaked the possibility of holding the event in Spain, following an agreement with Radio Televisión Española that could result in January 2023, for the celebration several months later, in November.
With this, this 24th edition of the Latin Music Diversity Awards would be the first to be held outside the US.
