Paris was the first European city to welcome Taylor Swift in The Eras Tour and we already know the novelties for the following concerts
With the launch of The Tortured Poets Department and after all the dates in America and Asia some changes have been made to The Eras Tour. On the positive side, Europe will count with a new era for TTPD with its own show. In addition, new and never seen outfits for Eras like Lover or 1989 are also added to the show. On the negative side, this means iconic songs like Long Live are left out of the setlist. This has caused mostly negative reactions among the fans.
Paris was the first city to receive Taylor Swift in Europe. Stockholm, Lisbon and Madrid are the next shows happening in May. After that, the Tour will continue in the continent until August and make another 1-month break in September. Finally, The Eras Tour will close in December with its last date happening in Vancouver. Unless Taylor Swift says otherwise. Perhaps, we could see another one of her surprise announcements taking place in that September break planned for the tour.

New Era for the Tortured Poets Department
However, besides the sadness of the removed songs the opportunity to listen to the new era is the biggest joy the European fans could get. The Tortured Poets Department, or as Taylor Swift calls it “Female Rage: The Musical” is the new era added to the already huge The Eras Tour.
This era features like it always does for Taylor a new dress code with a custom Vivienne Westwood gown among other outfit changes during the era. A full circus show with her outfits changed has impressed fans and made them a bit less sad about losing beloved songs like Long Live
New and colorful outfits are the other addition to the show
Orange is the new black for Taylor Swift. It is noticeable, that we have seen various of her new outfits for the tour using this color we did not see a lot for Taylor previously. Lover bodysuit and The Man blazer together with the 1989 top and skirt or the FolklorEvermore cottagecore dress have suffered this “orangefication” of Taylor Swift.
Of course, as we see with everything Taylor Swift does the fans are making theories about the meaning behind this pattern. Some of them say TS12 might use this color as its main theme. Perhaps, even a reference to the obscure and mostly unknown Beautiful Eyes EP Taylor recorded after debut and before Fearless. Now a collector’s item as it cannot be found anywhere and Taylor has not talked about it ever (It mostly had alt versions of Taylor Swift Debut songs we might see in the Taylor’s Version)
We might see an announcement after the European dates
The addition of an 11th Era even made some fans question if a 12th one is possible before the tour ends. The devil works fast but Taylor Swift works faster. The already mentioned gap in the tour after the European dates and more subtle references might make us see if a 12th Album this year is something we can dream of. However, we are still expecting the re-recording of beloved albums Reputation and Debut so that is maybe a more possible thing to look up to.
What better way to finish her Eras Tour than reclaiming all her previous work? The other fan theory we could read on social media is about the outfit changes in every era except for reputation. Maybe the day we see a new snake-themed outfit is the moment we can get …Ready For it?.
