In this timeline, teenage Snow is the last hope for his fading lineage, a once-proud family falling out of favor in the post-war Capitol. As the 10th annual Hunger Games approaches, Snow is stunned by the task of mentoring a young girl (Lucy) in honor of the upcoming game. Lucy is from the desperately poor District 12, the same district that our Mockingjay Champion Katniss Everdeen is from.
