the jonas brothers are working hard to make their Las Vegas residency this month a very special experience for fans, and they’re also taking the opportunity to clean out their wardrobes.
Nick Jonas says, “We’re preparing some special things for our fans. They’re going to help us pick out the set list every night”. Plus, he adds, “We all walked through our houses and grabbed a bunch of [our] own personal memorabilia that we’re going to sell for a dollar each at a pawn shop to thank them for their continued support”.
Apparently you have to subscribe to a new smartphone-based premium content service called scribe, which will bring you “unique behind-the-scenes videos and updates” from the brothers for five dollars a month.
In addition to ticket presales and such, subscribers will have a chance to win a spot at JoBros “Authentic Memorabilia Pawn Shop Dollar Store” in Las Vegas. The group will donate about $2 per subscription to various charities, and Scriber itself is donating part of its profits to carbon reduction efforts.
In addition to creating content for this new service, the group has an equity stake in the company.
The Jonas Bros Las Vegas Residency begins at the Dolby Live Theatre at MGM Park on June 3 and runs through June 11.
