Although they have never left and have always been present in all the gossip, the Kardashians will return to our screens next April 14th. After ending in June 2021 the 20 seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the show that launched them to stardom, the most famous family of Calabasas is back to stay.
This time they will return with the new reality show under the celebrities’ own name, The Kardashians. The five sisters along with their mother have signed a long-term agreement with Hulu, which will be in charge of bringing the format to all homes in the United States. Meanwhile, in the rest of the world, the series will arrive through Disney+, within the Star section.
A 30-second clip of The Kardashians began circulating online after its premiere during the February 21 episode of The Bachelor. In the Hulu trailer, viewers saw previews of major milestones in the family’s life such as Kourtney and Travis Barker’s engagement or Kim’s preparation to host Saturday Night Live.
Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, Kylie and, of course, Kris once again let the cameras accompany them in their daily activities to let the public know the truth behind the perfection of social media. According to the synopsis, this series shows “the gigantic pressure of managing billion-dollar businesses, the moments of play and taking the kids to school, and offers viewers a fascinating and relatable story about love and life in the spotlight”.
As expected, one of the most potent spotlights this season is the divorce of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. The last season of KUWTK wrapped filming in January 2021 and it was, after that, when news broke that the couple was splitting up. So viewers were left wanting to see all the divorce proceedings and the problems that came with that separation. The reasons for this separation have not yet been made clear and both have been very conservative when talking about the process. That is why it’s expected that all this will be seen in this new season.
Also this will not be the only event that we will see because, as we can see in the trailer, we will follow firsthand the pregnancy of Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott.
