Although the superhero movie has grossed over $332 million, continues to bring audiences to theaters around the globe and continues to prove itself as a blockbuster, the entertaining romantic comedy starring Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum has been crowned the highest-grossing and most-watched film of the past weekend, a true smash hit for Paramount.

But, unfortunately for all of us, Sandra Bullock announced, in the promotional interviews for this film, that she is momentarily retiring from acting. At the age of 57, after producing and starring in this film, she expressed that this decision is motivated by family.
Bullock clarified that she means being by her family’s side, especially her two children Louis, 12, and Laila, 10. “I take my job very seriously when I’m doing it. That takes me 24/7 and I just want to be 24/7 with my kids and my family now,” she said about the reason for being absent from the screens.
