The music festival that set the mood in fashion and in music in general for this concert season it started. Coachella is a two-weekends cultural experience that was created to mix a lot of music genres an attract a wide variety of public. This mixed of taste, in all aspects, gives the possibility to many people of expressing themselves through incredible outfits, and we are here to cover all that up. To find the trends that are goign to be seen in different festivals throughout all summer.
First of all we need to acknowledge that Coachella is great opportunity for brands to place their products in celebrities own social media without being overly commercial. As we can see in the shows of Harry Styles and Maneskin who always trust Alessandro Michele of Gucci to dress them up, giving to the public a mixing romantic and kinky (in the case of the Italian group) or a retro style (with this year’s headliner Harry Styles).
As seen in this examples, the use of monochromatic looks (white and black mostly) are always in trend and showing some skin is also one. So after the Lil Baby and Big Sean shows we hope to see you embracing your own bodies and choosing a color that is perfect for you and going for it all with the fit.
Other brand that is popping is Diesel with the entrance of the new creative director, Glenn Martens. So is not a surprise that some of the outfits of Coachella this year are sponsored by him (Deon Hinton or Bretman Rock). Due to the rise of this brand, denim is also on trend and can be found easily in the looks of a multitude of people that attend the first installment of the festival.
And to summarize, we can say that the cool part about Coachella being the start of the festival season is that is an open space (as we say before) and it welcomes a lot of different people that resulting in a colorful palette of fashion that cannot be found anywhere else, the outfits are important here. Enjoy music, share culture and respect everyone!
