With seven months to go before the 2023 Grammy Gala, there are already many people betting on the next nominations, which will take place on February 3, 2023 in Los Angeles. This is the 65th edition and Rosalía is one of the most talked about names in the predictions for the gala.
This time five new categories will be added: Composer of the Year, Best Video Game Soundtrack, Best Alternative Music Performance, Best Spoken Word Poetry Album and Best Song for Social Change.
Rosalía’s success with her latest album Motomami has been such that she is the only Spanish artist on the charts, and she is always at the top of the charts. Rosalía already has 10 Latin Grammy Awards, something that added to the success of her new songs has made her one of the favorites for this new nomination.
The artist is currently on her Motomami World Tour, in which in addition to singing the most popular songs of this year, she is also presenting new songs that will be part of her next album. Her latest song, which is also the one that is generating the most furor, is titled Despechá, a song that she has sung live during the tour but has also promoted on various social networks such as Instagram.
In addition to this promotion, the artist has confirmed that the new songs will be released very soon, and Despechá is very likely to be the first song to see the light of day officially, since so far none of them has a video clip. Other of these songs are Aislamiento, Dinero y Libertad or LAX. But none of them has been as popular as Despechá.
Many have already declared that Despechá will be the song of the summer, just as others place Rosalía as one of the singers most likely to succeed at the 2023 Grammy Awards. Undoubtedly, the singer’s success has already crossed borders and she is becoming a true favorite in every sense of the word.
