Following in the footsteps of many other singers, The Weeknd will launch a streaming on one of his concerts through a digital platform.
This Saturday, February 25, we will have available on HBO Max the performance of the Canadian at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in 2022. As a title for his publication he has chosen ‘The Weeknd: Live at SoFi Stadium’ and in it you will be able to see the most famous songs of his last two studio albums, After hours and Dawn FM.
The singer himself has announced the news through his social networks publishing the poster in which he explains all the details of the streaming. For its part, HBO Max has also released the trailer for this performance, which is part of the world tour being carried out by the interpreter of Earn it.
Abel has let cameras inside one of his concerts to be recorded for memory. In this way the documentary is filmed so that the viewer feels that he is witnessing one of the singer’s shows from the front row. The experience lasts 95 minutes like any of his performances. During this time he performs songs such as I feel it coming, Starboy or Blinding lights.
Attending a The Weeknd concert is a privilege that very few can achieve due to the high price of tickets and the few concerts given in each city. There is no doubt that the production of this film is a great news for any of his followers, especially for those with lower incomes. Thanks to this recording they will be able to experience in their own flesh what it is to attend a show of the singer and for free. To make it as realistic as possible, they shot it in a film form.
It was directed by Micah Bickham and, clearly, was played by The Weeknd. Contrast Films, The Weeknd, La Mar C. Taylor, Jordy Wax and Micah Bickham were in charge of the production.
This is going to be the first time we can see The Weekend through our TVs but not the last. In this 2023 will premiere the first series in which he acts, which has been created by the creator of Euphoria. Although the exact date of its release is not yet known, it will be seen on HBO Max.
