Tampa Bay Buccaneers are really near to start the 2022 NFL season with Tom Brady as their main quarterback. With the arrive of the American player, the team is one of the favourites to win another Super Bowl for the entity. Also, the passer could achieve some new records for him in this new edition.
Tom Brady as lot of records set that have never stopped growing and among them is the record for most passing yards that is practically unbreakable. Only Drew Brees came close to reaching Brady´s numbers but he retired and he could not achieve.
Obviously, next season is going to be tougher than previous ones for Brady, the defenders are tougher and faster than before, but he is ready for that kind of punishment. Especially after more than 20 years playing in the NFL, although his experience will help him to stay in force.
Most passing yards: he is currently the leader with 85,520. But with another season he could be close to 90 thousand. For that he must add more than five thousand yards to his records so that nobody can catch him soon.
Most 2,000 yard seasons: it is unlikely another quarterback will break this record but Brady could be close to breaking his own record of 20 seasons with 2,000 yards and adding another season.
Most completed passes in a career: Tom is the all-time leader with 7,263 completions, only Drew Brees came slightly close to that record with 7,142.
Most career pass attempts: another record held by Tom Brady with 11,317 attempts since his debut with New England Patriots. No other active player come close to his record.
Most games as a started (regular season and playoffs); from 2001 to 2021 Brady was started 316 times and after the post-season he established a record of 47 starts. Both records are unbreakable.
