BEDROOMS AND APPARTAMENTS
In its “Rooms and suites” section, we can find 6 different offers. In any case, within each offer, we can find different rooms. In total, Villa Spalletti Trivelli has 14 different rooms, each one differentiated with its unique, classic and cozy decoration in which you can spend hours discovering details. In addition to the hotel rooms itself, on the website we can find 3 complete apartments available to reserve.
These are located in the building adjacent to Villa Spalletti Trivelli. These apartments have capacity for 4 people and offer a similar aesthetic to the hotel but with a more modern touch. The apartments have an average size of 100 square meters, among which we find partially equipped kitchens and luxurious bathrooms connected to bright and spacious rooms.
As for the hotel suites, we distinguish 5 different models, Romantic, Prestige, Junior Suite, Deluxe Suite and Garden Suite. In the description of the first 4 we can find the same comforts offered “king size bed or twin beds, relaxation area, antique furniture, old original engravings, high quality marble bathroom with bathtub and shower.” However, the Garden Suite is located in the building in front of the villa, although they are directly connected by the gardens.
COMMON FACILITIES
The Villa Spalletti Trivelli has recently renovated the building rooftop. They have created a roof-solarium where you can relax and spent time day and night. The open spaces and the modern and simple decoration help transmit peace, while the views of the historic city fulfil your eyes. On the roof, you can relax on comfortable sofas while drinking or eating something. You can enjoy their typical gastronomy like salads or “bocadillos” where the olive oil from the family stands out. The costumers can freely drink from the bar locate don the roof that offers an assortment of classic spirits, wines and prosecco to sip while enjoying the panorama.
Besides the food you can relax and delight their jacuzzis. They are also located on the roof-solarium and covered by parasol structures. The rooftop and jacuzzis are open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm for guests of the Villa.
The hotel also offers free services such as buffet breakfast and parking. It also has outdoor seating, a private garden, or a spa area with a Turkish bath.
On their web page you can read how the Spa is specially created. “It covers a long purifying and regenerating journey of hot and humid areas and steam baths, whose objective is to reestablish psychophysical harmony.” Helping to the healthy life and to enjoy and admire our bodies, the hotel also offers a fitness area to exercise and counts with a fully equipped gym with personal trainers on request and individual training programs for the clients.
One interesting offer they have for the public is the event rooms. On their web page, we found The Library of Villa Spalletti Trivelli, recognized by the competent ministry of Italian Cultural Heritage. This room can be enjoyed as a distinguished meeting room to celebrate high-profile events or meetings that require privacy and discretion. The room has a capacity of 40 people maximum and is decorated in detail, offering technology and a European vision to the special clients that request it.
Another room is the dining room of the Papiers Peints of Villa Spalletti Trivelli. This place connects to their own Italian-style garden, protected by the Italian Ministry of Culture, where you can enjoy a book or walk though the nature.
THE VILLA HISTORY
The first owner of the building, Gabriella Rasponi, was the widow of Count Wenceslas Spalletti Trivelli (a senator on the kingdom at the time) and also the niece of Gioacchino Murat and Carolina Bonaparte (sister of Napoleon). This power position help her acquired the place, that was originally the house of Tito Pomponio, a famous roman historian and editor. Gabriella commissioned the architect Domenico Avenali to build Villa Spalletti Trivelli in the XX century. The building remained a family house until 2004. That year Giangiacomo Spalletti Trivelli, son of Count Piero, decided to convert the historic family residence into an exclusive luxury residence, which was the beginning of the hotel that now we can discover.
LOCATION AND TOURISM
The Villa Spalletti Trivelli is situated in the center of Rome in a special place surrounded by gardens and near the historic center of the city. This unique place makes it the perfect option to visit the city because most of the important tourist activities are near the zone. The building is only 7 minutes away, walking from the Fontana di Trevi and 13 from the Coliseo. You can take the metro in approximately 5 minutes or walk through the city, enjoying its stunning architecture full of history and beauty. The streets that flow from the building are full of museums, expositions, and mostly, shops and restaurants to treat yourself.
The family also own a wine cellar which works under the mark Pomario. The place is situated in the province of Perugia in the municipality of Piegaro near Monteleone of Orvieto. With the hotel, you can reserve a private visit to it and its plantations to learn first-hand how their organic wine and their special extra virgin olive oil are produced.
