Although Wednesday surpassed Stranger Things, it still cannot beat Squid Game which continues to be the winner of this title with a total of 571.8 million hours viewed.

Why is Wednesday so popular?
Wednesday Addams is part of the Addams Family, the TV Show created in 1964, based on the cartoon The Addams Family created by Charles Addams in the 30s. The original Netflix series is based on Wednesday who is expelled from her school after dumping live piranhas into her school’s pool for the boys’ water polo team bullying her brother Pugsley. After this, her parents Gomez and Morticia Addams enroll her at their high school alma mater, an academy located in the town of Jericho, Vermont.
Wednesday is a character with a cold, emotionless personality, and she finds it difficult to connect with her schoolmates. She later discovers she has psychic abilities, inherited from her mother, and this allows her to solve a local murder mystery.
