– Morgan and Madison managed to rescue Mo from PADRE at the end of season 7, but they failed to escape from the island due to the dangerous swamps. They decided to return to PADRE and work for them.
– Mo, now known as Wren, grew up in PADRE believing that she was an orphan and that Teddy was her father figure. She became a skilled fighter and a loyal follower of PADRE’s philosophy of severing emotional attachments and preparing for a new world order.
– Grace also joined PADRE as a collector, but she kept her distance from Morgan and Mo. She felt guilty for what they were doing and hoped to find a way out someday.
In the first chapter of season 8 Morgan discovered that Wren was his adopted daughter and tried to convince her to leave PADRE with him and Grace. He also learned about Teddy’s plan and realized that they had to stop him before it was too late. Wren is now in conflict between her loyalty to Teddy and her curiosity about Morgan.
