The singer has been releasing some songs the last months and the final result will be an album called “VENUS”
Zara Larsson has released her new single “You love who you love” last January 19. The song is full of rhythm and dance sounds. It’s the fourth song released by the moment that will be part of the new album.
Besides that, the singer has announced the album “VENUS”, that will be out in music platforms February 9. Moreover, Zara has published the official album cover along with some pictures from the album art photoshoot.
The singer also published the album track list where we can recognize the four singles “Can’t tame her”, “On My Love” featuring David Guetta, “End of time” and the new single “You Love Who You Love”. The singer has said that the “record that’s still pop, but also has an element of stillness. I wouldn’t say it’s a concept album at all.“
Zara Larsson will present her new album Venus on a UK tour next month, and she has advanced that there will be songs “very raw and that feel a little naked”. She has already published the dates for the concerts.
Starting again with the song, the lyrics are written by the own Zara Larsson, MNEK, who has collaborated with her in more songs, Karl Ivert & Kian Sang. On the other side, the song is produced by MTHR, the duo of Karl Ivert & Kian Sang.
Zara commented about the song: “We’ve all had that friend, or been that friend, who keeps going back to someone who’s bad for them, and “You Love Who You Love” is saying enough is enough.”
The uptempo beats makes you dance. The percussion have the protagonism on the base, but the dance sounds on the guitar and strings keep you hanged. Her voice and harmonies fit perfect with the sound of the music.
On the lyrics we can read sentences like: “Till you call me ’cause he made you cry” or “What he’s putting you through is too much” referring to the toxicity of the relationship and the frustration of advising a friend that doesn’t want to listen and continues with the relationship even when is hurtful.
By the moment there is no music video for the song, but Zara has sung it on the Bergfeldt as the acoustic version with only one guitar and her voice.
Zara is success after success, which will make her new album a secure triumph. The fact that she has a closed tour before releasing the alum shows how much the public loves her and sits her as one of the most popular Europeans in the international music world.
We will have to listen to the four singles over and over until we can enjoy the album next month. There is never enough Zara Larsson in the world, and we can’t wait to listen to more of her music soon.
