The singer and songwriter Morrissey has broken his relationship with Capitol Records after the preparation of “Bonfire of Teenagers”, an album he had been preparing since 2021 and that would see the light next 2023.
It is known that the artist Miley Cyrus wanted to be part of the album voluntarily, carrying out a collaboration of both artists in a single called “I Am Veronica”. However, Morrissey has announced on his website that the artist has asked to be removed from the album and the collaboration.
Thus, the artist wanted to announce the resignation of the singer to her participation with a photo of both, coupled with the message “Miley Cyrus now wants to be excluded from the song “I am Veronica”, for which she voluntarily did the chorus almost two years ago”.
It is still unknown if the real reason for the American’s resignation is due to Morrissey’s breakup with Capitol, but the artist assures the fact due to the closeness of the dates.
