The seven-time F1 world champion and fashion icon Lewis Hamilton stole the spotlight at the iconic British Vogue event
Once the Bafta awards ceremony was over, the celebrities who attended the gala moved to Annabel’s to attend the now traditional party organized by British Vogue and the jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. But the appearance of Sir Lewis Hamilton got everyone’s eye on him with another iconic look by the British driver. A few days before F1 pre-season testing on his last season with Mercedes before joining Ferrari in 2025.
Lewis Hamilton has a distinctive identity in F1, which is not just related to his achievements on the track. The British driver is a prominent member of the fashion industry and is a pioneer in bridging the worlds of F1 and fashion. Moving to Ferrari in 2025, Lewis Hamilton is starting to tap into Italian fashion. He appeared at the party wearing an outfit from the Valentino fall 2024 collection.
He got to the party together with American Vogue editor Anna Wintour and joined well-known names like Chioma Nnadi, Head of Editorial Content of British Vogue.
Other names that joined the event include: Bottoms star Ayo Edebiri, actresses like Emily Blunt, Cara Delevingne, Anya Taylor-Joy, actors like Andrew Scott, the iconic British singer Dua Lipa or Taylor Swift‘s ex-boyfriend Joe Alwynn among others.
Lewis has been a fashion icon for quite some time
It is not the first appearance of the British driver at this event. He joined last year’s after-party too. His status as a global British Fashion icon gets him a seat at this kind of events. However, this is not the only brand interested in the potential of the 2025 Ferrari driver. Tommy Hilfiger had him as a guest since 2016 and has sponsored Mercedes since 2018 and might want to join him when he joins the Italians.
F1 season it’s only one week away and we will see if the British driver keeps balancing his fashion and his motorsports career. Italian fashion brands might want to join Ferrari in 2025. We already have seen brands like Emporio Armani manufacturing kits for SCC Napoli so a partnership is something fairly possible.
