The fourth season finale of Stranger Things caused such a buzz yesterday that Netflix servers crashed in several parts of the world. All due to the hype of the fans to find out how it would end what has undoubtedly become the best season of the series.
In the first part we knew the big secret of the series, and this was the reason why all these strange events were happening in the city of Hawkins. The reason was Eleven, of course, but as we have discovered in the previous seasons, there were ten issues before her and seven after. So it’s been quite a revelation that the big bad controlling the Demogorgon and the Scourge was none other than One/ Henry/ Vecna, the first special child through whom they created all the others.
The success of the first part led to thousands of theories that flooded social networks for weeks and has even led to the creation of The Lab Experience, an immersive activity that is taking place in different parts of the world in which Stranger Things fans must face four tests of the laboratiorio of the famous rainbow room to find out if they are fit to face the Upside Down.
With all this, it was only logical that these last two chapters put all the fans on edge, anxious to see if their favorite character would live or die, eager for the group to unite again to fight Vecna and of course, we all wanted to see Eleven give One the beating of his life.
And the truth is that the most epic scene of this season is still the rescue of Max, because the fight between Eleven and Vecna has a more emotional approach, about what it means a face to face confrontation between the heroine and the great villain who have a past together. And they are practically siblings.
In parallel we find other epic scenes, such as Eddie’s concert at the Upside Down, whose song has been one of the most talked-about bets in social networks. Many were betting on ACDC or Europe, but he ended up playing a Metallica song. Something that, on the other hand, made a lot of sense. And of course, we can’t leave aside a Will breaking out of his shell more and more strongly in a time when, as he says, being different is dangerous. But there’s his brother to support him and remind him that he’ll always love him just the way he is.
The best part of all this is that we knew from the beginning that seasons 4 and 5 were filmed at the same time, so the continuation of Stranger Things is confirmed. There is even talk of a spin-off. But focusing on the fifth season, what we know so far is that there will be a time jump, since it is no longer possible to hide the growth of children who instead of fourteen years appear to be eighteen. In addition, as the last season ended, this time jump could lead to an imminent confrontation against Vecna or a kind of war in which Eleven leads the resistance.
Unfortunately, everything points to the fact that we will have to wait a long time to see the fifth season, some even talk about 2024. Be that as it may, re-watching the entire series before the premiere of the fifth may help to understand some details of the fourth, so we will have to take advantage of the wait.
