British singer Harry Styles performed this week in Los Angeles as part of his Love On Tour world tour. During the concert he received a hit from a Skittle, leaving the show attendees very worried.
Harry returned to the stage with this concert after more than 150 days away from them due to an illness that forced him to be in bed. The singer himself published a message in which he apologized and said that “I have not canceled any concerts due to illness in the 12 years I have been on tour”. Unfortunately, he did not receive a good welcome from his audience.
As you can see from the images that the concert attendees have posted on social networks, the singer received a blow in the eye. In these photographs you can see how several candies collided against the singer. Styles quickly took his hand to the eye and as a measure for the fans to stop throwing things to the stage raised his hand. Apparently the actor had been asking for a while not to throw candy on the stage for fear that someone would hit him.
Due to the hit the artist, former member of the boyband One Direction, had to stop the concert for several minutes until he recovered. During this time the public was also worried about him because he might have even been blinded by what happened, and began to reproach the perpetrator for his act.ย
This anger of the fans did not stay here, it went viral on twitter after. Even the official account of Skittels has had to publish a post because of the attacks they were suffering since the candy that hit the singer was of this brand.
It is not known why, but it seems that Harry fans have some sort of obsession with throwing food on stage during concerts. Not long ago, during a concert at the Madison Square graden in New York, the singer received another attack but this time with a chicken nugget. On another occasion, in Chicago, the object that was thrown at him was a bottle of water, this time hitting him in his private parts.ย
Although for many years it is typical for fans to throw things on stage such as gifts or clothes, it is quite strange that someone who pays a ticket for a concert of his Idol is dedicated to throwing things on stage that can harm the artist.
