This weekend we had another exciting race. As is usual on this sport, the fourth race of the Formula 1 season was very exciting for drivers and for all the fans of the motor.

As we see, Max Verstappen won his second consecutive race on this season. His teammate of Red Bull Racing, “Checo” Perez got the second position. And on the third, we saw a surprise. After a good classification and also a good sprint race on Saturday, Lando Norris could achieve the podium. Without doubts this is a really good new for McLaren.

The race started with bad news for Ferrari´s team. The Spanish driver Carlos Sainz had a little accident on the first lap with Daniel Ricciardo. The worst is that he got caught on the gravel and he was the first driver of the day to leave the race.

On the lap 7 Fernando Alonso would retire again. He had to leave his second race this season. This time was due to a little blow with Bottas. The Alpine car suffered damages on the motor side and the plate blew up in the air. The Spanish driver has very bad luck recently. On the classification he was doing one of the best times and but he had a little accident on the acqua minerale curv. Also, some drivers that made red flag had not any sanction. However, the experienced pilot has some hopes on the next races. We are just on the fourth race of 23, so he has time to change the things.

Another amazing thing was that Max Verstappen doubled Lewis Hamilton. It is very sad that a driver that last season was competing face to face with the Dutch pilot is now on the last places. However, his teammate Russell made a fourth position, something quite hopeful for Mercedes.

Also, a big surprise of the weekend was the podium of Lando Norris. He was really happy after the race and eagerly to keep fighting for be on the top drivers. On the interview post-race, he said this: “An amazing race. An amazing weekend. I’m happy. Top job from the team. We’ve been able to capitalise on the tricky conditions”.

The surprise for bad was the performance of Charles Leclerc. The French driver completed a good classification and a good sprint race the Saturday and the Friday. However, on the lap 53, with less than 20 minutes to end, he had a little accident and he had gone into the barriers at the chicane. Fortunately he could come back to the pit. However, this cost him down to P9 with less than 15 laps left. With the amazing car of Ferrari he advanced to the P6. Bottas (P5) was more than 10 seconds ahead and was almost impossible reach him.
