Lamborghini’s boss, Stephan Winkelmann, announced at the start of the year two new variants of the Huracán model. The first, was presented in April and was called Tecnica. Now, the Italian luxury automaker has teased the second one and looks like an off-road-oriented Sterrato, a new concept of a model launched in 2019.
In the video that has been teased by the company, shows a camouflaged prototype model of the Sterrato, and it seeing the differences between the 2019 model and this. For example, the production version still wears a pair of rectangular LED rally lights atop the front bumper, but the third LED light bar mounted to the roof rails has been removed, and as the automaker has said the presence of the roof rails will allow owners to install their own aftermarket auxiliary lights. The second one is on the plastic around the wheels, the production car appears to feature similar black plastic cladding around the wheels as the concept, as well as the same slatted engine cover, but there also appears to be an air intake emerging from the engine bay.
Lamborghini has not said anything about the specifications of this car, but it is expected to be an all-wheel drive and the same 631-hp version of the 5.2-liter V-10 as we found in other AWD Huracán models.
The teaser video has not revealed the date of the launch of this model, but following the word of the boss, this model will be available at the end of this 2022, in a few months. Obviously, the price has not been revealed too, but taking some prices of Lamborghini´s cars it will be priced in more than $200,000 and will be closer to $300,000. Maybe we will have to wait some weeks to now more information about this model.
